The double room at The Old Thatch - Hennock was cozy and comfortable. It had an electric kettle and a tea/coffee maker, perfect for a morning pick-me-up. The flat-screen TV was a bonus, allowing me to relax and unwind after a long day. It felt like a home away from home, which is just what I needed as a light sleeper like me.
The only thing I didn't fancy much was the bathrobe. I personally felt it was a bit too bulky for my liking.

Lovely stay, enjoyed the garden and terrace. Shame about the towels though, they were offered but I didn't really need them.
Who needs towels anyway, right? Just added unnecessary fluff to the experience.

From the moment we arrived with a glass of bubbly to being escorted back to our car with an umbrella, we felt like VIPs. The homemade dinner was mind-blowing and the breakfast was cooked to order. The local pub was a short walk away and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The quirky house had a charming log fire and a private bar. We will definitely be returning! Free parking, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, outdoor dining area, restaurant.

Arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco, which was a nice touch. the owners were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the homemade two-course meal we had. the food was cooked from scratch and was absolutely amazing. We also enjoyed the fact that breakfast was not scheduled, but cooked whenever we were ready to have it.
Our weekend was cut short by rain on the day we left, but that was beyond anyone's control. we didn't have any major complaints or dislikes about our experience at the hotel.

We had an amazing stay at this place! the warm welcome from the hosts made us feel like part of the family. the property itself is stunning with a cozy lounge area and a real fireplace. the food was absolutely delicious, prepared with skill and love, and presented beautifully. We also loved the unique and eclectic decor of the place. the location was great, with a local pub just a short walk away.
That when both rooms were occupied, we had to share the bathroom.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming bed and breakfast in a picturesque location. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. the attention to detail was impeccable, with a glass of prosecco upon arrival and even an escort to my car with an umbrella. the two-course meal was cooked from scratch and surpassed all expectations. the cozy bedroom was filled with special touches, and the bathroom was lovely. the breakfast, cooked to order, was another highlight of my stay. I would highly recommend this unique and exceptional place.
While the bathroom was lovely, it was shared when the second room was occupied.
